OUR STORY
As Co-Presidents, Gianna and Sophia founded Level the Desk Inc. to tackle the resource gaps that many students face in the education system. Having navigated the IEP process firsthand, Sophia gained an intimate, insider understanding of where the system succeeds and where students are left to bridge the gaps themselves. Watching this journey unfold, Gianna recognized that Sophia – and all students navigating unique learning paths – deserved a much more observant, deeply thought-out, and individualized approach to their care and education. Channeling this shared conviction into leadership, the sisters decided to take action. Today, Gianna and Sophia are using their unique perspectives to build an organization that ensures every student gets the precise attention, tools, and support they need to thrive.
Our Mission
Our mission at Level the Desk Inc. is to bridge the gap in special education by raising awareness about the lack of school funding for students with learning disabilities. Through community advocacy and strategic partnerships with organizations supporting our cause, we fight for equal resources and full classroom inclusion so every student has an equal space to succeed.
